How to Choose a Putter
Head shape matters more than brand. Blade putters suit players with an arcing stroke. Mallets suit players with a straighter, pendulum stroke. Not sure which you have? A mid-mallet splits the difference.
Length is critical. Most stock putters are 34 inches. If you're over 6'1" or under 5'7", get fitted or at least try a 35" or 33" respectively.
Grip is personal preference but oversized grips like the SuperStroke style reduce wrist action, which helps if you tend to get handsy under pressure.
